Symptoms of Insufficient Pressure in Hydraulic Pipe Bender
Symptoms of insufficient pressure in Hydraulic Pipe Bender mainly includes insufficient bending force, slow action, insufficient clamping force, increased system noise, increased oil temperature, hydraulic cylinder creep, pressure gauge display abnormalities, the equipment can not be started, hydraulic oil leakage and slow system response. The cause of insufficient pressure may involve hydraulic pump wear, improper adjustment of the relief valve, insufficient or contaminated hydraulic oil, hydraulic cylinder leakage.
1. Insufficient bending force
Performance: bending can not reach the preset angle or bending radius, the bending effect is not ideal.
Reason: insufficient pressure in the hydraulic system can not provide sufficient bending force.
2. Slow action
Performance: slow action of the hydraulic cylinder, bending speed decreased significantly.
Reason: insufficient pressure in the hydraulic system, resulting in insufficient hydraulic cylinder driving force.
3. Clamping force is not enough
Performance: the clamping device can not firmly clamp the pipe, resulting in bending pipe sliding or offset.
Reason: insufficient pressure in the hydraulic system, the clamping device can not provide sufficient clamping force.
4. System noise increases
Performance: the hydraulic system operation noise increases significantly, especially the hydraulic pump and hydraulic valve parts.
Reason: insufficient pressure leads to hydraulic pumps and hydraulic valves work instability, resulting in noise.
5. Oil temperature rise
Performance: the hydraulic oil temperature rises significantly, beyond the normal operating range.
Reason: insufficient pressure leads to a decline in the efficiency of the hydraulic system, the energy loss is converted into heat, so that the oil temperature rises.
6. Hydraulic cylinder crawling
Performance: hydraulic cylinder in the process of crawling phenomenon, that is, the movement is not smooth, fast and slow.
Reason: insufficient pressure leads to uneven propulsion of the hydraulic cylinder, resulting in the phenomenon of crawling.
7. System pressure gauge display abnormalities
Performance: the hydraulic system pressure gauge shows that the pressure is lower than normal, or pressure fluctuations.
Reason: hydraulic system pressure is insufficient, the pressure gauge shows abnormal.
8. Equipment can not start
Performance: the equipment can not start normally, or start immediately after the stop.
Reason: hydraulic system pressure is insufficient to provide sufficient power to start the equipment.
9. Hydraulic oil leakage
Performance: the hydraulic system leakage phenomenon, hydraulic oil loss.
Reason: Insufficient pressure leads to seal failure, hydraulic oil leakage.
10. Slow response of the system
Performance: After the operation command is issued, the equipment response is slow, lagging action.
Reason: insufficient pressure in the hydraulic system, resulting in a decrease in system response speed.
Solutions
Check the hydraulic pump: check the wear and tear of the hydraulic pump regularly and replace the badly worn parts in time; check the directional control device of the hydraulic pump to ensure that it is installed and set correctly.
Maintain the hydraulic valve: clean the relief valve and directional valve, unclog the damping hole, remove burrs and dirt on the valve core; check the assembly and working condition of the hydraulic valve to ensure that it works properly.
Handle the hydraulic oil problem: keep the oil level of the hydraulic tank in the normal range to ensure that the hydraulic pump can fully absorb the oil; according to the requirements of the equipment and the ambient temperature, select the appropriate viscosity of the hydraulic oil.
Repair hydraulic cylinder: check the hydraulic cylinder piston sealing ring, if there is leakage should be replaced in a timely manner sealing ring.
Troubleshooting piping problems: check the hydraulic system piping, clean up the blocked parts, repair or replace the leaking piping.
Eliminate air: check the sealing of the hydraulic system components to prevent air from entering; exhaust the air in the system through the exhaust device or manual exhaust method.
